KAVA KAVA – 50g

Kava Kava, commonly known as Noble Pepper, is a plant originating from the Pacific Islands and is used in many cultures as a traditional relaxing agent.

Traditionally, a paste was made from the root of the plant, which was mixed with water or coconut milk and prepared as a drink. This grinding was traditionally done by chewing the roots and spitting them out, but is now usually done by hand.

Kava Kava contains compounds called kavalactones, which are responsible for its effects.

Kavalactones, which make up 3-20% of the dry weight of the plant's root, act on the brain, reducing anxiety and tension while increasing a feeling of well-being and relaxation.

It can cause relief from depression and improve mood, promotes sleep and muscle relaxation.

Approx. one teaspoon can be mixed with water, juice or another drink.

For capsules, the recommended daily dose is once a day, preferably in the evening.

In some cases, it may cause side effects such as drowsiness, nausea and impaired muscle coordination.
