Active substances and effects
Matcha contains caffeine, but thanks to the amino acid L-theanine, caffeine is released gradually - alertness without nervousness and without an “energy crash” after the effect wears off
L-theanine supports alpha waves in the brain - a feeling of calm concentration, often described as “relaxed energy”.
Matcha is rich in catechins (especially EGCG) – powerful antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress.
It has a high chlorophyll content because the leaves grow in the shade – it helps neutralise free radicals and supports antioxidant processes.

It is a high-quality green tea from Japan. It is obtained from tea bushes which are specially shaded from direct sunlight. The result is a higher content of chlorophyll and L-theanine and a richer, greener colour. The fresh leaves are then harvested, dried and ground into powder. Moya Matcha Daily has a strong tea flavour and a lingering astringency.
