Milk thistle, also known as a thistle with distinct purple flowers, is a commonly growing plant in the Czech Republic.

It has many beneficial effects that are obtained from crushed seeds.

Active substances and effects

Silymarin is an active substance found in milk thistle and is responsible for its health benefits.

In addition to silymarin, it contains a proportion of proteins and vegetable oils, amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids, essential oils and vitamin E, which acts on the nervous, circulatory and excretory systems.

Milk thistle has antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory properties, supports the digestive system and kidney health, and improves skin problems.

How to use

The recommended dose is 4-8 capsules daily.

For true effectiveness, milk thistle should be used as a course – regularly for several weeks or months, preferably repeatedly.

It is more suitable to use in the morning.Side effects

It is important to avoid consuming larger amounts of alcohol during its application and, if possible, also limit the use of synthetic drugs.Higher doses may cause digestive problems.
