Dragon's blood is the name for the sap of the South American tree Croton lechleri.
This name is derived from the dark red colour of the sap, which resembles blood.
Dragon's blood is characterised by a wide range of biologically active substances, suitable for both internal and external use.
Active substances and effects
It contains active substances such as antioxidants, tannins, lignans, etc.
Antioxidants help to remove free radicals from the body, which are produced as a product of metabolism and can damage the cells of our organism.
Tannins are polymeric phenolic compounds. They are part of many foods and have a detoxifying effect on our organism.
Lignans support the proper functioning of the immune and circulatory systems.
It helps to heal abrasions and cuts faster (it dries the wound, which speeds up scab formation).
How to use dračí krev?
Dragon's blood is suitable for both external and internal use.
Recommended daily dosage: 1-3 times a day 10 drops. Drink with water or dissolve in 100 ml of water.
Adverse effects
Internal use may cause nausea, diarrhoea, stomach cramps or vomiting.
It is not recommended to combine with alcohol, blood thinners, herbs with a high tannin content.
